Sonesta Select Columbia

We were welcomed by Brittany. She was kind, efficient and made the check in process a breeze. After traveling for a wedding with 2 kids and a baby. My husband and I really appreciated her professionalism. We’ve had check in times literally take an hour. At the Sonesta this was not the case! Brittany made sure everything was processed in a timely manner. Ensuring a seamless transition for a tired traveling family. Facilities and room was clean and accommodating. But the star of the Sonesta is behind the front desk!

I had a great stay at Sonesta Select Columbia. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and Merriweather Post Pavilion. Rooms are spacious with modern décor, and I appreciated the sofa bed, desk, and good Wi-Fi. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. The lobby and common areas have a relaxed vibe, and the on-site bistro made it easy to grab breakfast and coffee before heading out. The indoor pool and fitness center were also nice extras. Overall, excellent value for the price — I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travel!

We had an event and we're looking for a nice hotel for our international guests. We looked into other places but this was the perfect place. The place was clean and the location was great. We discussed with Alan, Sales Manager about our requirements. He was so helpful and answering questions on weekends and late nights. Thanks Alan. Service, Rooms and location everything is great. I will recommend this.

This is a nice hotel. Clean, good service and a fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. In general, I've noticed how the AC power outlets are placed around the room. There's one here, one there and there's usually enough, but I usually end up with my devices scattered around the room to get everything charged. Guess I need to start carrying outlet extenders.

We were in town for a family memorial gathering. We found the staff to be very sympathetic and supportive. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable. The breakfast offerings were very good. The outdoor courtyard was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing.

The hotel was clean and room was clean but did have a mildew smell to it. We were supposed to have 2 beds but ended up with one bed and a pull out couch. Since I was traveling with kids, they didn't mind sleeping on that. Staff was good about getting us things we requested such as more towels, toilet paper, ect. My biggest complaint is that Sunday-Friday they have swim classes in the pool that run from afternoon until night time and so we always only got to use half of the pool (length wise) when swimming which is not really much when it comes to kids playing. Otherwise, a decent hotel.

I had never heard of this hotel before but I'm glad we went here. It's dog friendly. They even have treats and tennis balls in the lobby for them. People with pets are put on the first floor so there is easy access to the outdoors. The woman at the front desk was very nice, she loved seeing the dogs. All staff was very helpful and friendly.

There are a lot of places you COULD stay in the area, but this is your best bet. It's quiet. It's tucked away from traffic. It's reasonably priced. The desk staff are amazing. You can stand in the hall, and you'll hear people in their rooms - yelling, watching TV, whatever. But the moment you step into your own room, it's somehow all gone. I've stayed here several times, and it's not my go-to when I fly into the area. This is not A place to stay in Columbia; it's THE place.
